“Regarding mental health practices, I like to use a private twitter account to log information on how I’m doing, feeling, at any given time. It allows me to conduct quick check-ins with myself, and I find the more I use the tool, the more I’m in touch with how things are going, how I’m perceiving experiences, how I’m reacting to life, and how healthy I am, mentally.

“Mental health is something I focus on daily. Whether it’s through exercise, reading, journaling or meditating, I challenge myself to carve out thirty minutes a day to sort through my stress and anxiety levels to prevent a downward spiral. I also participate in a few small groups that meet a couple  times a month where members hold each other accountable to communicate their emotions and mental health state. I’ve found self reflection and a community of accountability provides support for me to continually improve my mental health.”
